As you know, today, POs use a fixed set of statuses (Draft, Draft completed, Ordered, Partially received, Received), and you can't add your own or rename them.
It's a bit more involved in some ways than customizing other status lists, because these statuses drive what happens behind the scenes. Some examples, marking a PO Ordered locks its prices and counts it toward your committed costs. Receiving the PO moves it to Partially received or Received. Any custom statuses would need to work alongside those without breaking them.
Some clarifiers that could help us shape it properly
Which statuses would you add? For example "Waiting on approval", "Backordered", "Shipped".
Would they just be labels for tracking and filtering, or should they do something, like block ordering until approved?
