Pipeline: Show remaining-to-bill alongside project totals

Problem

The pipeline view shows each project's full quoted total, even when the user has already invoiced for a significant portion of the work. Forecasting "what's left to bill next month / next quarter" requires opening every project individually and adding up remaining payment-term balances by hand — usually exporting to a spreadsheet to do the math. The pipeline becomes a poor surface for the question owners actually ask of it: how much revenue is still ahead of us in this stage?

Required capability

  • A "remaining to bill" column on the project pipeline showing each project's quoted total minus everything already invoiced.

  • Roll-up totals at the stage / column level so a user can see the remaining-to-bill sum per stage at a glance.

  • Filtering and date-window controls so the user can answer "what's projected to bill in the next 30 / 60 / 90 days" without leaving the pipeline view.

  • Drill-through from the column to the underlying project payment terms so the number is auditable.

  • Optional separate columns for "billed to date" and "% billed" alongside remaining-to-bill, since some shops cash-flow forecast off all three.

Why it matters

Cash-flow forecasting is one of the routine planning tasks for owners and controllers at integration shops, and the pipeline already holds all the data needed to answer it. The current state forces the forecast into a spreadsheet, which dates the moment a project schedule changes, an invoice goes out, or a deposit lands. Showing remaining-to-bill in the pipeline keeps the forecast live and removes the dead-time work of rebuilding the spreadsheet weekly.
