if a user scans a barcode and no match is found it would be nice if we would guide/ask the user if they want to map this value to UPC/EAN for a specific product.
note that something like this may already exist in staging as of testing in dec 2025
(this becomes more complicated with advanced inventory when we will be indexing many additional fields for search like serial#/assetID/etc. we can still do some intelligent check like if its 12 or 13 characters and unmapped ask users if they want to map, or similar.)
