Sales pipeline reporting with period-self-consistent counts and dollar values per stage

Problem

The pipeline summary today shows opportunity counts at each stage (created, presented, signed) without showing whether the numbers refer to the same set of opportunities, and without surfacing the dollar value at each stage. Sales leadership running weekly pipeline reviews can't answer the questions that drive the meeting: how many opportunities have we presented this period, what's their total dollar value, and how many of those have we won or lost?

Today the workaround is exporting opportunities to a spreadsheet and recomputing the funnel by hand each week.

Required capability

  • A pipeline / funnel view scoped to a configurable period (this week, this month, last quarter, custom date range).
  • Counts at each stage (created, presented to client, signed, lost) that are self-consistent within the chosen period — i.e., the "presented" count is a subset of "created" rather than an unrelated tally.
  • Dollar value totals at each stage, not just counts.
  • Per-salesperson breakdown of the same view.
  • Export to CSV for sales-meeting handouts.

Why it matters

Most shops with more than a few salespeople run a weekly pipeline review where leadership wants to know what's been generated, presented, won, and lost in dollar terms across a defined window. Without consistent counts and dollar values, that meeting either skips the data or pulls it from a side spreadsheet. Either way, the pipeline view in the platform stops being the source of truth.
