We would like to request a native integration between D-Tools and System Surveyor to streamline the design-to-proposal workflow.
Our team uses System Surveyor extensively for site surveys, device placement, and system design. Currently, there is no direct way to transfer this information into D-Tools, which results in duplicate data entry, increased potential for errors, and added time during the proposal process.
Key functionality would include:
Ability to import System Surveyor projects (devices, quantities, and locations) directly into D-Tools
Mapping of System Surveyor elements to D-Tools catalog items
Automatic population of bill of materials based on survey data
Linking drawings and layouts from System Surveyor to D-Tools projects
Synchronization or update capability when design changes occur
This integration would significantly improve efficiency, reduce manual input, and ensure greater accuracy between system design and final proposals.
It would also strengthen D-Tools as a central platform by connecting it more directly to widely used field design tools.
