Every client and/or project should have a detailed equipment table where Serial Numbers, MAC addresses, IP addresses, firmware versions, etc. can be documented for the equipment.
These tables would be searchable so that, for example, a recall or critical firmware update is released that applies to specific serial numbers, all equipment could be quickly searched to determine which customers and equipment is affected.
Being able to document additional information (the table should allow for custom columns), such as IP addresses, allows for quicker and easier servicing and troubleshooting.
D-Tools Cloud Inventory Asset Management (IAM) is now live and supports the majority of what is being asked here. The project contains an "Assets" page that allows you to easily see all inventory asset tracked products that are allocated to the project along with all their associated meta data (ip address, notes, etc).
This Assets page also allows you to bulk edit the Asset meta data (like ip address, notes, mac, etc) as well as print QR Labels for the associated assets that are used in warehouse management.
Please reach out to your account manager or customer success rep with any questions about IAM. Cheers!
