SUMMARY
D-Tools lacks ability to link existing QuickBooks invoices, limiting real-world workflow flexibility. This creates tracking gaps when invoices originate outside D-Tools.
STEPS TO REPEAT
Create invoice directly in QuickBooks (outside D-Tools)
Attempt to associate that invoice within D-Tools project/payment screen
Observe no option to map or link existing QuickBooks invoice
FAILURE
No ability to map existing QuickBooks invoice to D-Tools invoice
ACTUAL
System only supports one-way mapping (D-Tools → QuickBooks) with no remap or backlink capability
EXPECTED
System provides option to map/link an existing QuickBooks invoice to D-Tools invoice
NOTES
This is a feature gap; request is to enable backward linking capability
Unmapping breaks linkage permanently with no recovery option
Workflow mismatch: invoices frequently created in QuickBooks first
