After emailing with the user i found out that they are saying that when an item is physically delivered to site but then must be returned to warehouse, they desire to auto-reserve for the project in question when changing the item status from Installed back to Staged.
Some users might want it to not auto-reserve though, perhaps they returned the item to inventory but it will be used for a different project (rob peter to pay paul). It might need to be a setting but must consider too many settings.

Thanks for jumping in, I think the part of that I was hoping to change is when you change the item from Delivered back to Staged, it also un-reserves it. It would be great if it kept the item as still reserved.
