Let a company choose the event that makes equipment cost count in job cost, instead of one fixed set of statuses, and alert the project manager when cost or hours pass a threshold set for the job.
Today job cost counts equipment cost only once an item is Picked, Delivered to Site or Installed. Companies that want cost to appear sooner, for example when equipment is received, cannot change that. Vote and comment if you want earlier cost visibility or overrun alerts.
