Track how an item's cost moves from the quote, through engineering review, to the purchase order, and report the changes by project and by vendor.
Today price and cost history is kept per product, and job cost shows product cost per project. There is no rollup by vendor, and nothing that compares what was quoted with what was ordered. Vote and comment if you need to see cost drift by vendor or by job.
