Print Labels for Client Supplied Items within a Project when an internal change occurs.

We have a Project that the Client is suppling access points and we did an internal change order and marked the items as client supplied. We need to track the serial numbers and be able to have the technicians scan the label to mark as complete installed. We want to be able to have the project name and project location on the label that will be printed and put on the box so the technicians know where to install the access point.

An update on this one @Guest We're considering a feature for printing a simple project label for any item on a job, which may possibly including client-supplied gear. Tracking serial numbers or scanning to install client-supplied items is still outside how inventory works, since serial tracking requires unit-tracked inventory. Product Labels Not Tied to Inventory DTC-I-1031 Thanks!

Thanks for the detailed write-up @Guest

Today, in D-Tools Cloud, serial numbers, QR labels and scan to inspect unit meta data are all part of unit-tracked inventory: they come with items you check in to your own stock. Items marked client supplied are kept outside inventory, so they can not carry serials or labels. This paradigm is not something we plan to change anytime in the foreseeable future. I am closing this request as Will not implement for now. We can reopen and reconsider this idea down the road if the overall paradigm changes. Thanks.
