The in-app messaging is a great tool and can in some ways replace slack and/or Teams, however currently the only way to know if someone sent you a message is if you are staring at your computer and see the notification on the screen. It's way too easy to miss. It would be great if there is some type of chime and push notification to your phone (the phone notification would be HUGE)
Hi @Guest part of this exists today: in the chat panel, open the chat settings and turn on Desktop Notifications, and your browser will pop a notification when a message arrives, even if you're on another tab. There's no sound yet, and the mobile app doesn't send a push notification for chat messages — both are fair asks. We're looking at a sound alert in the web app, and push for chat is on the mobile team's list. No dates, but you're not the only one asking.
